Dell Urich Golf Course, in the heart of Tucson, was renovated in 1994 from a dry, straightforward, dull course to a lush, innovative, beautiful design, and has become one of the best public courses in the state. With the longest of four tees measuring only 6623 total yards, Dell Urich is not considered a long course; however, there are four par 4's over 440 yards, more than any course in Tucson. Another of Dell Urich's characteristics is that the par-70 design has three par 5's and five par 3's.
