This beautiful 18-hole layout features tight fairways and well-bunkered greens, placing a costly premium on accuracy from tee to green. Recent course improvements include longer, more challenging par-4s and par-5s with added bunkers and waste areas to create greater penalties throughout for those errant approach shots.

Plantation Resort - Championship Course ($$)

Fifty years ago, highly regarded course architect Mark Mahannah set out to create a rewarding course in the traditional Florida-style with a variety of water and bunker obstacles and the result was The Championship Course at the Plantation Golf Resort & Spa. All of the links are beautifully manicured, well-groomed and provide a traditional mix of the best golf Florida has to offer. The great Tommy Bolt was a frequent player and guest in the 60s, starting a trend that would make the Plantation a venerable and well-respected golf resort for years to come. Over the years, the resort has been host to numerous legendary PGA and LPGA professionals.

World Woods - Pine Barrens ($$)

The Pine Barrens Course at World Woods, ranked #64 in the World by Golf Digest, is a visually stunning blend of native terrain and golf course design. Named for the many pine trees that line its length, the acclaimed layout is sculpted from an expansive pine forest with surprising and dramatic changes in elevation. The large manicured fairways framed by expansive untamed waste bunkering create a unique golf experience. The course's style has been compared to that of Pine Valley in New Jersey - the consensus No 1. course in the world. Pine Barrens offers many intimidating, yet, enjoyable holes. The golfer who challenges Pine Barrens will find the course to test both the physical and mental aspects of the game.

World Woods - Rolling Oaks ($$)

The Rolling Oaks Course provides the second world-class layout at World Woods. An entirely different, yet no less enjoyable experience than playing Pine Barrens, this course's name also gives clue to its design. Despite being built directly adjacent to the Pine Barrens Course, differences in soil content allow the land to support giant Oak trees draped with Spanish moss that regularly accent the holes. Sharply defined bunkers filled with bleached white sand contrast beautifully with the rich green fairways. These attributes coupled with the many Azalea bushes present in the landscaping are reminiscent of the famed Augusta National. The beautiful rolling fairways that lead to undulating greens add drama to this more traditional course design. Many changes in hole style and length create a great blend of holes that requires a variety of shots and a strategic approach to score well.

The Copperhead undoubtedly is The Golf course that most lovers of golf are familiar with. At 7,300+ yards, this par-71 layout is designed to challenge the players of all ability levels.

Ample water, tight fairways, intimidating hazards, and abundant bunkers - all designed to test the skills of the most accomplished golfer have won much acclaim for the Island Course at Westin Innisbrook. The Island, often considered to be just as challenging as the Copperhead, is ranked among the country's top 50 resort courses by Golf Digest and No. 14 in Travel & Leisure Golf's "Fifty Finest in Florida." The varying terrain, coupled with a variety of tee placements, can challenge both the professional player as well as the weekend golfer.

The par-70 Palmer Course at Saddlebrook plays much longer than the 6,469 yards. With water on 17 of the 18 holes, players find themselves thinking their way around this Arnold Palmer design. The par-5 fourth hole is a perfect example with water on the right and out of bounds on the left off the tee. The second shot doesn't get any easier with trees lining both sides of the fairway. Finally, an elevated and well-trapped green awaits your third shot as you attempt to reach the green in regulation. Overall, you'll find the Palmer Course provides an enjoyable day of golf with rolling fairways and receptive, undulating greens.

Please Note: Only guests of the Saddlebrook Resort can play the course.
The Saddlebrook Course was originally designed by Dean Refram in 1976. Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay redesigned the course when building the Palmer Course in 1986. The Saddlebrook Course provides a longer challenge than the Palmer with tighter, tree-lined fairways. Just like the Palmer, you'll find water on 17 of the 18 holes. The course is well-known for its finishing hole, a tough par-4 with a difficult second shot over a substantial water hazard to a very undulating green.
