Bandon Crossings utilizes the natural contours of the land, with its gentle rolling hills, picturesque creeks, wetlands crossings and lovely stands of coastal trees. The par-72 course, 6,900 yards in length, has a learning center with a driving range and practice green. The design makes the most out of this beautiful property, creating a memorable course to be compared favorably to the others in the area. Golfers who come for the Bandon Dunes experience will typically enjoy additional golf, and will have a memorable option at Bandon Crossings. Built to attract golfers who want a challenging 18-hole course, it will round out the offerings in the Bandon area, complementing but not competing directly with the other courses. Carts are available here.

Course architect, David McLay Kidd, explains: "From the moment I stepped out on these wild, wind-shaped sand dunes, I knew this would be the opportunity of a lifetime. The owner, Mike Keiser, wanted something authentic and true to the Scottish tradition. My reply was 'no real estate, no golf carts, no clubhouse on the beach'. It thrills me now to watch the public playing the game as it was originally meant to be played, on the finest linksland I've seen outside the British Isles."

Construction was completed June 1st, 2005 on the third course, Bandon Trails. Designed by the legendary team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Bandon Trails promises to continue the traditions of excellence already established at Bandon & Pacific Dunes. According to Bill Coore, "The site is extemely unique. It's characterized by inland, rolling dune land as well as exposed sand with beach grasses and ocean vistas. We're falling in love with the South Coast of Oregon." Adds Ben Crenshaw, "You hear about it, but until you see it, you just don't realize that it is such a special place".

Course architect, Tom Doak, said: "Every architect dreams of building among the sand dunes in the same terrain where golf was conceived in the British Isles. For me and my associates, Pacific Dunes is that dream come true. I suspect that any golfer would have found some of the same holes, like par-4 13th along the ocean, but it was an enormous responsibility to find the best possible routing on a site of such potential. The rippling fairways are mostly as we found them....our layout is short enough to give every golfer hope, but its rugged nature will test every facet of your game."
